Until you add an effect, there's nothing to display there. Left top of the interface is where you'll find the Effects tab, from which you can browse effects and transitions. To export still images, otherwise known as freeze frames in other software and film lingo. I should have searched for freeze frames in the manual. Got it done in Premiere, maybe more slowly. Hi, Double click on the node to select. use Option S (Alt S) to add a node after the current one. If its greyed out with the recycle logo.. you may have a GPU resource issue. In DaVinci Lite 11, you have to select the “Edit” tab to export XML. However, do know that any color information will not transfer over if doing XML. You must export from the “Deliver” tab for color info to be added. Reply to this Discussion!

its my first day with Davinci and i just cant figure out why its greyed out for me. i tried changing in the project settings to either sony, black magic etc. but they didnt change anything for this tab. clip im using is just a folder that i drag n dropped (exr - 16 bit images). Sep 5, 2023 · In the Resolve installer app selection list, is DaVinci Resolve in that list, and grayed out and not selectable, or not in the list at all? Please send a screen shot of the Programs and Features control panel list of apps. If you have lots of apps, we want to see the D programs in the screen shot. HDR out of Resolve needs the Studio version, unless you're just doing a straight 2020/P3 conversion. I'm only able to see that checkbox enabled on my Studio system, and not in the Free version. Those particular settings are also for hardware monitoring - if you don't have a Decklink or Ultrastudio, most of those "Video Monitoring" settings do ...So it looks like it is NOT necessary to create a new timeline as concluded in my last response. I can export .wav files just fine. I still can’t explain why both on DaVinci 16 and 17b9, which are on separate computers, I was having the exact same issue. If you want do some effects to it, you have to drop an effect onto the png from the left side first. Click on EFFECTS on the left side of the page.and drag it onto the png. Yea you’re right. I tried unselecting the GPU and it is still greyed out, leading Davinci to say that I need to select at least 1 GPU before closing preferences. I am on the free version. Even when I modify all of the sliders in PROJECT settings and save them, no changes are applied to the video. It's as if the PROJECT settings are not really being saved or applied to the project..
